Bondi: 2.8kW solar + 24kWh Sigenergy battery backup

A compact 6-panel array with a 24kWh Sigenergy battery — maximising energy independence and backup on a small Bondi roof.

Bondi solar and battery installation by Solterra Electrical
Eastern Suburbs · case study

The brief

This Bondi terrace had a small, partly-shaded roof — but the owner wanted maximum energy independence and reliable blackout backup, not just bill savings.

What we installed

We installed a compact, high-efficiency 6-panel array to capture every bit of available sun, then paired it with a large 24.18 kWh Sigenergy battery and SigenStor hybrid inverter for whole-home backup. Near the coast, we used corrosion-resistant, marine-grade mounting throughout.
